Working in small format reduces the urge to get bogged down in detail. These two are each 3″ inches square. I like to crop things square when I’m finished, as I often do with photos as well. Squares create order with a bit of tension.
I intended these two to be part of a triptych. I never did the third one, so a diptych it shall remain.
