Virginia is a paradise: mountains, lakes, the Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic Ocean.  Scenic byways, great towns and cities of history and culture. Ham, peanuts, wine and fires of white oak logs, and four distinct seasons.

After 20 years in the world of commercial architecture, I settled in northern Virginia to concentrate on designing custom homes & additions that reflect and respond to all of that.

My goal is two-fold: to provide clients with a comfortable, livable home, and to make sure the house sits comfortably in its environment, whether it be an urban or suburban neighborhood or a natural rural setting.

Zoning laws, building codes and technology are constantly changing. I am your advocate in the field and in the county offices to be sure you are getting the proper advice and attention.

As a certified home inspector, I bring an additional stack of knowledge about the pesky stuff that many designers would leave to the builder.

Join me as we work together to create your Virginia home.
